At the Killer Nashville crime fiction conference over the weekend, I got to meet the legendary Dr. Bill Bass (right), creator of the world’s first laboratory devoted to studying human decomposition. You know it as “The Body Farm.” With Jon Jefferson, Dr. Bass also writes crime fiction under the joint pen name Jefferson Bass.
