Look Who’s Reading “Cliff Walk.” It’s Actor and Novelist Eriq La Salle

Eriq LaSalle

Eriq La Salle is best known for his role as Dr. Peter Benton in the NBC medical drama ER, starring for eight seasons starting in 1994.  Since then he’s been in a few movies and TV shows, but mostly he’s been directing.

Now he’s invaded my turf, turning out a crime novel titled Laws of Depravity. Set in New York City, it was published last month.

I met Eriq last week at Thrillerfest, the big crime fiction conference at the Grand Hiatt Hotel in Manhattan, and photographed him reading my new crime novel.

Cliff Walk is the second in my series featuring Providence, R.I., investigative reporter Liam Mulligan. The first, Rogue Island, won both the Edgar Award and the Macavity Award. Reviewers say Cliff Walk is even better.

You can purchase print, e-book, and audio editions of my books here.  You can find Eriq’s  here.
