Tim Hallinan is one of the best crime novelists we’ve got. I admire his Poke Rafferty thrillers set in Thailand, where he lives half of the year, and I looooove his darkly funny Junior Bender novels set in Los Angeles, where he lives the rest of the year. I caught up with time a while back at a crime fiction conference and snapped this picture.
If you haven’t read Tim, you’re in for a treat. You can learn more about him here. And you can purchase his books here.
Cliff Walk is the second book in my series of hardboiled crime novels featuring Liam Mulligan, an investigative reporter for a dying newspaper in Providence, R.I. The first, Rogue Island, won both the Edgar Award and the Macavity Award. Reviewers call Cliff Walk even better. I’m proud that the Mulligan novels have been translated into ten languages. The third, Providence Rag, will be published in hardcover by Forge in March of 2013. You can purchase the Mulligan novels here.
I was excited to see the March 2013 pub date for Providence Rag, however, I don’t see it on amazon. Did the pub date change? thanks!
The publication date for Providence Rage is March of 2014. Thanks for asking.
