Randy Wayne White’s New Thriller Tackles One of Florida’s Most Enduring Mysteries

Book Review Night Moves.JPEG-020eeOne of the most enduring Florida mysteries is that of Flight 19, a squadron of five Navy torpedo bombers that took off from Fort Lauderdale on a training mission on Dec. 5, 1945, and vanished somewhere off the Florida coast.

Veteran crime novelist Randy Wayne White tackles it in his new Doc Ford thriller, Night Moves, weaving it with another puzzler:  Why did a saboteur bring down a small lane carrying Doc Ford, his drug-addled pal Tomlinson, and their veteran pilot — and which one of them was the perpetrator trying to kill?

The novel is a fine addition to the Doc Ford books, one of the most consistently strong thriller series going.  You can read my full Associated Press review here.
