“The Double” By George Pelecanos: My Review

doubleGeorge Pelecanos has long been one of our finest crime novelists. His latest, The Double, is the second in his series featuring Spero Lucas, an Iraq War veteran turned Washington, D.C., private detective.

The book is a throwback, hardboiled story that will remind readers of the Parker novels that Donald Westlake published under the pen name Richard Stark.
